Basically, the two party systems is complete ass.

Republicans veto and block every single thing that he or congress tries to do, and refuse to so much as compromise for the greater good, they just whine and stamp their foot that they want their way.

The only thing I'm not impressed with Obama is that he should be bitch-slapping these people, not trying to reason with them.

Does separation of powers mean anything to you?

Remember that Reid has literally hundreds of bills on his desk that the house passed that he refuses to bring to the senate floor, many of them bipartisan. I don't mind Obama too much, but the day that man leaves will be a good day.

Its a little of both sides blocking each other really. Thing will get passed in the House of Representatives, but the Senate leader won't put them up for vote in the Senate, and I'd assume vice versa.

He's just black. None of the racist ass republican representatives will ever willingly take a command from a black man when they should be out working in the fields.

he isn't evil or awful or anything, but he's a fairly weak leader. Hasn't been able to get congress going to actually accomplish anything . Unfortunately, we've had several weak leaders in a row now

I think it's 90% Congress. Sure, he could be doing a better job, but I mean, the Republicans actually shut down the government because they didn't like a bill that passed.

Have you read Obama Care, we had dems saying we need to pass it to find out what's in it, it's laws not a fucking scratch off game

How about you look at what Obamacare is right now, instead of repeating some old bullshit you heard?

I'm sure nearly everyone in the US that pays for health insurance has been to www.healthcare.gov/? (or insert your specific state website) and has benefited in someway. If you haven't, you should, in case your private insurance is ripping you off.

I did and I got to see my fucking health plan that I couldn't afford in the first place from my job double in cost

Except its true. Nancy Pelosi literally said "It's going to be very, very exciting. But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it" The majority leader of the House at the time was saying that. Not some random shmuck, the fucking majority leader. I think that justifies the other side raising a stink about the whole thing.

I'd say "continually getting cockblocked by Congress" is a pretty good way to describe our current situation. Neither side's really able to do anything, and everyone's getting fucked in the ass because of it.

There has never been a presidency with less activity and this is a major cause of that. I'm not entirely sure how his healthcare reform passed. I bet it was obama.

He was deathly ill for the entire time. He was bedridden in his home and then died. I don't think he even made a public appearance as president yet.

JFK was close to this level of inactivity for similar reasons.
