My biggest frustration was ordering some very high end workstations and finding out I could not use the top of the line GPUs or have SSD and RAID disks, let alone two RAID arrays (RAID 0 for SSD and a RAID 5+1 for HDs) Apple sales and "geniuses" were of no help at all. So I just constructed custom Intel PCs to fit the company's needs.

Final Specs (which Apple couldn't touch):
Dual Xeon E5-2620 Liquid cooled with a moderate OC
2x Samsung 840 500GB in RAID 0
4x 2TB HDD in RAID5 = 6TB useable space.
1/2 the machines 64GB Ram, the others had 128GB
2x SLI Quadro 6000
and Dual 32" 4k Monitors
$20K Each machine final cost.

Lots of 4k video rendering, they said money was no object and they prefered Apples, but once they saw it couldn't come close they ordered 14 of those.
Mostly for public TV and private documentaries, all I know is they came into a bunch of money and wanted something "Future Proof".

I guess their current machines they spend way too much time waiting for stuff to render, or transfer files and backup.

1. Making custom teeth specifically for that dog's mouth
2. Removing healthy, rooted teeth from dog's mouth
3. Implanting teeth in dog's mouth
4. I guess the care the dog haves to get afterwards since i don't think these teeth are ready-to-use as soon as implanted, as the dog would probably try to use its not fully-recovered mouth/teeth, damaging them in the process.
I think that adds up for atleast a few hundred dollars.
Also, German Shepperd have a really strong bite, i think i read somethere that they can even break bones I'm too lazy to look it up to give you exact sources, but you can do it yourself , so it would be stupid to think that they can't rip kevlar. Sheet metal as ieatpaste said, probably some stronger, little bit thicker metal, but nothing much more than that.
#151 - fbiagent (07/05/2014) [-]
usually they only put in titanium teeth once the normal ones get broken off
User avatar
#80 - ieatpaste (07/05/2014) [-]
idk i think the price range is accurate. the teeth would have to be either machined or cast my areas of expertise and those options are both very expesive for titanium.
