Well, I've started with 1.0 to 1.6, kinda disliked CS:S and love CS:GO again.
It's all a matter of preference.

1.6 is adored as the greatest cs because muh nostalgia and also because the whole competitive scene grew around it, the great ones were the greatest, and people just remember the oldies and how many of them just aren't there anymore. At least I think that
