It clearly says Columbia is the first runner up. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the first runner up obviously isn't the winner even if it is formatted weird.

Aw, c'mon. Dude's in front of several thousand people IRL and several million over TV. The runners up are printed on the top left of the card, whereas the winner is printed down and to the right. Not only that, the second-place winner has a giant "1st" printed next to her name. Sure, if you've got a few minutes to read the card everything becomes clear, but under the pressure Steve was under anybody could make that mistake.

Okay i'm not following this stuff but is he suppose to announce 2nd runner before announcing the winner?
