No more so I got tired of continuously having to push the cord back or pull more up onto the desk depending on what I was doing.

I have a pull out draw and i just pulled enough slack and then i taped it the remaining cord with enough length to the back of the computer and I have hardly noticed it.

thenez trailoftears I've never had a bad set up and the cord has always bugged me. I've also never had a problem with the reliability of wireless mouses either. Keyboards on the other hand..

Have you guys actually had problems with wireless mouses or is it just hearsay?
User avatar #476 - trailoftears (09/05/2013) [-]
I've had one that tended to spaz out from time to time. not a major problem unless you're gaming. But thats what i did at the time.
User avatar #477 - thirdjess (09/05/2013) [-]
Eh I'd say that's just the quality of the mouse not the fact that it's wireless. My Dad has one of those cheapo mini laptop mice that came with his laptop bag, it spazzes out to occasionally and it's wired.
User avatar #468 - mcrut (09/05/2013) [-]
Then what i did if you do not have enough slack, like I did, just secure enough slack to keep it from moving.

I actually have had a very profound problem with the Microsoft mobile mouse 4000.
The response time on this mouse is just disgusting.
It's almost as if the polling rate is 4hz.
User avatar #465 - thirdjess (09/05/2013) [-]
I'm using a Microsoft mouse right now with no issue. Perhaps you didn't have enough power going to your USB ports?
User avatar #466 - thenez (09/05/2013) [-]
Which Microsoft mouse?

The mouse I am talking about is not mine, but one that I had actually recommended to a friend since Microsoft mice are usually pretty good. I will have to inquire about that possible power issue.

There are mice with thin cables, such as the Logitech g400 and g400s.

I own the g400s, and I don't even notice the cable.

Wireless tends to be unreliable though.
User avatar #299 - kiratheunholy (09/04/2013) [-]
Wireless requires to be charged, so playing for prolonged periods of time is a no-no.

User avatar #304 - kiratheunholy (09/04/2013) [-]
Exactly my point. It doesn't let you play for more than a month and a half at a time.
