Yeah, thanks for sharing your thoughts too. I prefer the old gameplay, because if you have a DMR and I have a DMR, if I have more skill than you, I can kill you, but if you lucky and got a couple of kill steals or snipes, and got a kill streak drop, then you can kill me obviously more easily. The same thing happens with map knowledge in Halo Reach, but eventually people will learn where everything is and the best approaches, while all you *technically* would have to do for the same effect would be stealing kills from far away until you get a good enough weapon to begin raping.

The unlocks were stupid I prefered when everyone started with the same stuff, and map knowledge was useful, rather than being able to shoot someone with twitch reflexes on a time (that's how CoD is played) the killstreaks thing is also really stupid, and that's exactly what it is. I didn't think that the campaign was fun in Halo 4, it seemed like a grind to me. I didn't have fun emptying magazine after magazine of the assault rifle into an enemy, just so that I can run around without ammo while the others shoot me. The gameplay in Reach wasn't a big grind in my opinon, I felt that unlocking more parts of the story was fulfilling, while in Halo 4, it seemed like a job to go from cutscene to cutscene, because the story wasn't compelling. I like to fight the covenant, not some giant robotic things that turn into balls when you're about to kill them and emerge with full health. My thoughts aren't very coherent, but those are some of the reasons why I thought that Halo 4 was a piece of junk.

Your thoughts were coherent enough. Thanks for sharing. I loved halo 4, was pretty disappointed with Reach, so it was interesting hearing your take on things. I don't share many of them however, I've played so many hours of halo since halo 1 I really appreciated the new energy and advances that 343 brought to the series. Killstreaks only drop new weapons which the maps still have laying around. So it just lets the players who don't know the map get a shotgun or something every now and then. Although I guess that part near the middle or end of any long game where every one has earned a better weapon is a little odd I'll admit.

I don't think it lacked in plot at all. I think it was a great prequel. At least it was a long and fun campaign, the campaign for Halo 4 was short, stupid, and I doubt the developers put effort into it. 343 industries also put all of their effort into making the multiplayer as much like CoD as they could, so people like me who don't like CoD, and prefer the multiplayer of Reach and 3, obviously wouldn't like 4.

I felt like they did a great job with 4. The campaign went to diverse locations had out of this world set pieces and managed to keep an exciting pace.

I also like the multiplayer, I didn't get any COD impressions, what do you mean by that? The unlock system? I had a good bit of fun with all the unlocks. It's not like halo reach didn't have them too. It's just Bungie didn't make them any fun to unlock.

I thought it harked of halo 2 multiplayer with a few of 3 and reach's best features added.
