lockstin (03/16/2013) [-] exactly. the ps3 was vastly different than the ps2 in means of how code is processed. they did it in a silly way that caused lots of problems for game developers. so in order to make things easier for the devs, they made it much more like a PC. which will make porting from PC to ps3 or ps3 to pc much easier. In order to make the ps4 backwards comparable it would have had to stick to that bad way of processing, and thus still be hard on the game devs. or they could of had 2 separate parts in the console, one for ps4 and another for backwards compatability, but that would cost them and you a lot more money.  #712

mcmanybucks (03/16/2013) [-] Im just tired of hazzle, cuz i have a 60'' flatscreen tv hanging on my wall, a ps1 and 2, a wii and a xbox..im a spoiled ass kid though i only haz 2 scart sticks on the bottom of my tv, its annoying having to brick out a giant tweezer and a flashlight to put in a damn plug..though my complaint could be rerouted to tv developers asking them to cut the HDMI and USB crap and make more scart sticks..unless theres a ultra-plug for scart sticks? | ||
