Like a month ago I was robbed with my friend by two guys with a knife. It was scary as fuck, luckily they didn't do anything to us and just used the knife to scare us, and I don't know if a gun would be less scary, maybe it is about opinions. I lost my fricking phone though...

Yea me too, but a gun is a ranged, 1-hit-kill weapon. You can kill with a knife too, but you can kill someone with your own hands too. I find a gun much more dangerous than a knife

yeah you have a smaller chance of survival with guns.. I'm still more scared of knives than guns for some reason. In a criminal encounter, most of the time a gun is used to scare to get what they want. But a knife is used to neutralize the victim.
