I'm not really sure how you can guarantee a job, unless it's a government job.
We already have plenty of wellfare programs, I don't really see how adding another one or two or ten will change much of anything.

I'd go for the idea of guaranteeing a government job if was essentially that people would be working for the wellfare benefits they're receiving. Better to have someone working for their money instead of just sitting and collecting it. The biggest issue here though is that there's no incentive for anyone to work hard at these jobs since they're always going to have one.

The problem with centralized systems is that a small number of people are expected to make choices for a much larger body of people. This is less efficient than say, each person of that body making their own decisions.

So when you scale up it just gets worse.
