The way these people do it is by investigating closely how open stuff is. How accessible it is. How much the general public is involved in everyday business workings.

Which is why I thought I'd say hello. I figure some jerk is going to mention fedoras, which is ******** in my opinion. We can't tell people what to believe, but we can call them idiots. Free speech means we get to be assholes! Which is a good thing, sometimes assholes have a point.
This issue is rather near and dear to my heart, because here in the US, Creationism has tried multiple times to infect public education (and my state even had it in public schools for a while, so embarrassing). I also went to a private school where I had to pretend to agree in Creationism, despite my convictions.
I try hard to remember that not all Christians are close minded fools, but it is sometimes difficult when the biggest impediments to progress are often done in the name of God.

It's weird to listen to that, coming from Denmark.
Over here, almost the entire native population is what we have come to call "Tradition-Christian" meaning that we get Christened, get Confirmated (some renounce their beliefs and call it a Nonfirmation), usually get married in church, and have a funeral in the church. But almost no one goes to church on sundays. In the general public at least. Many do attend on Christmas Eve. But that's it.

Every country has its problems, ours just happen to be religious nutters. Also gun nuts.
