Incoming opinion.

I think AC3 had every potential to be a great game, the concept as a whole excited the hell out of me. The reason i felt the game "failed" imo, was because of the main character Connor, and the controls of the game (minus the glitches and other issues that a lot of people experienced). Connor to me was a kid who was whinny because he didn't get what he wanted and almost always was complaining the entire time without learning anything. In AC2 we saw Ezio kill the enemies and slowly learn overtime what he was doing and slowly grow from a immature kid who wanted to revenge to an older wise man who had learned all he could know. Connor never grew, he would just tell the people he killed they were wrong and never took it from their perspective. Then the controls I felt were perfect prior (for the xbox 360) then it was completely changed and I actually really disliked them, but I won't get into specifics, just that the change was more of a bad thing than a good thing.

I feel if you had played his dad (I forget how to properly spell his named, it was Hathem or something) it would have been a really cool game, especially from a templar's perspective. Plus you could see how he was growing as a person, where as Connor didn't.

It was a cool story overall and time frame to play in though, I liked all the references to the history. I just felt they really dropped the ball on the character and the system they had already perfected.

I loved the Colonial era part. Great characters and story I thought. The modern part with Desmond and company was absolute shit. The ending was awful, on par with Mass Effect 3.

Yeah mass effect 3 was an extremely good game, all the way up till the end. Even with the free extended ending, it was still kind of shitty.

Really? I hated it. I thought it even started off bad. That said, I loved the first two to death. It just felt wrong to me for so many reasons.

i thought it was a good conclusion. I think it was a let down because they didn't really include anything new or change anything, which in itself is good, they kept to the AC theme and just streamlined what they needed to. i liked it, but i still am upset about Desmond's ending. They need to do something to fix that to me.
