But suddenly a few women are acting like the jokes are too much. People are people. They won't let up on religious jokes, and they won't let up on jokes about women.

No, you are right in that sense certainly, but there still are plenty of female viewers on this site that I feel would be polarized by it after a while. I'm not saying to get rid of the jokes all together, but I just think we should let up a bit.

No. I could care less if someone just simply stated it, but straight up saying "Dear Atheists, if god isn't real then why the bible?" Is like me saying "Dear Christians, if god is real then why dinosaur fossils?" and I'd instantly start a huge debate over atheism and Christianity, and it would be mostly accepted because Christians are butthurt over an atheist saying that god isn't real, and they'd probably be a lot less civil than I am being, but it's not acceptable for me to debate with someone over them smashing what I believe, and after its been said that they were kidding I apologize?

If you couldn't tell that the original statement was a joke, then you were looking for a fight. I'm a Christian and I don't get mad over someone expressing their different beliefs.
