remind me the difference between baritone and Euphonium? an extra valve on the Euph currect?
#128 - mattcris (09/21/2012) [-]
Euphoniums are slightly bigger, have more tubing, and are conical, and have a deeper tone, closer to a tuba, where a baritone is closer sounding to a trombone. As for the valves, and the differences in their bells, both could have 3 or 4 valves and could have the forward or upward facing bell.

24 hour time is better, as it's obvious what you mean without clarifying with AM or PM nonsense, and I think most of the world uses it, like the metric system. I wish we used both here.
User avatar #13 - sodapops (08/27/2012) [-]
It's not DIFFICULT per se, but if you live in a country using 24 hour clock you have to stop and think if you hear "11 pm" whereas 23.00 can only mean one time. Besides, it's international standard.
User avatar #14 - sodapops (08/27/2012) [-]
Ok, maybe i was a bit unclear. 24 hour clock, also known as military time or astronomical time is the international standard (ISO 8601, thanks wikipedia).
