Or in the early days of yellow FJ when people were ok with the new wave of feminism.
The amount of thumbs a comment has has no effect on the legitimacy of the posters statement. It's only an indicator of how many people like or dislike your comment. That in turn is usually a rough indicator of the average age group currently on funnyjunk.

Yeah, I heard he's huge...
But here's a serious question: Where does he live? Inside planets core?
Because 'under the mountain' seems too small and 'under four mountains' sounds more believable, but when he's not in his cave, the mountains should colapse because of the huge hole beneath them, no?

Al mualim was a dick all along, the apple is actually some mystical alien technology with a map to other pieces of mystical alien technology called pieces of eden, also there's more pieces of eden, Desmond experienced something called the bleeding effect from being in the animus too long and got a bit of eagle vision, he saw messages written by the former Abstergo captive

Oh okay. The symbols were the only thing that didn't make sense to me. It all seemed like a big setup for the next game.
I got an Xbone for Christmas and it came with Black Flag and Unity, so I thought I should finish the first one. It was pretty good. Repetitive, but good

It was a big set up for the next game. Already in the very first AC, they actually hinted towards doing something big for 2012-12-21 (which they did, as it was what AC3s story revolved around).
They also hint towards more things in AC2, which imo is the best Assassin's Creed.

I forgot how damn good the writing used to be for these games. I don't think it's necessarily horrible now but it used to be full of actually interesting rhetoric and wit. Now it seems to mainly boil down to just:
Assassin: "blah freedom!"
Templar: "blah people are sheep, no freedom!"
Ubisoft why you yearly release schedule

I still feel it's Pretty good.
Charles Lee: Why do you fight?
Connor: Because no one else will!
Edward (to a dying soldier who kicked his ass before): You humbled me once, and I took that hard lesson, and I bettered myself. Die knowing that for all of our conflict, you helped make a soldier out of a scoundrel.

I actually did really enjoy the third Assassins creed games story, I never really understood all the hate for that game. Maybe because it wasn't such a revolution like II was?
Black flag kind of vexed me because although it wasn't really terrible I felt like at it's heart they really wanted to make a pirate game but decided oh let's just make it an Assassins creed game too for no reason.

My huge problem with AC3 is that a good 12-13 hours in it still felt like a tutorial. I was getting really annoyed with all the hand holding and quit playing the game after Paul Revere's ride. That and compared to the Third Crusade or the Renaissance, the American Revolution was just a really boring setting for an AC story, in my opinion anyway.
#35 - wilfredfanforever (01/17/2015) [-]
And yeah, same sort of thought I had. Edward was really a pirate who didn't start affiliating himself with the Assassins until the game was basically done. "A Pirate trained by Assassins..." not true at all

Ah that would make sense if it was technical issues, I had an xbox copy and fortunately never experienced any. I liked Connor because he was quiet but actually had a personality. It was kind of hot-headed but also dignified and inquisitive. You don't see that a lot in games.
#34 - tbeaz (01/17/2015) [-]
I also thought Connor was a really cool character and felt like his life is one I would have liked to have seen more indepth and drawn out like the did with Ezio. His story felt like it was rushing at a breakneck speed to me, although that might just be because it was coming right after the Ezio saga.

Yeah but killing innocent people and killing dickheads who need to die are two totally different things.
