- So you're saying it's illegal to change gears?
its probably having a hand off the wheel for prolonged periods.
it only takes a couple seconds to change gears if you're real bad at it...
You're probably forbidden from having something in your hand, to prevent you from having to take both hands off the wheel to shift gears.
Think how hard it'd be to turn on your signal light, or activate your windshield wipers, or anything if you have a burger in one hand and the other hand is managing the wheel.
they are idiots who dont know how to handbrake and change gears
they use automatic.
we can conclude that using manual transmission in usa is in fact illegal

- Is tankexplain a thing? Maybe militaryexplain? Anyway, someone…
i think there once was a tankexplain, but i havent seen him in a while.
it is uncertain, which tank is the best one, since most of them never fought against each other, but most people agree, that either the Leo 2 or the Abrams A2 is the best one.
the polish one is still a prototype and it will be a light tank if i remember correctly. there isnt much information about the chinese and the Merkeva, but they are assumed to be very good, but less good that leo/abrams.
the Amata T-14 might be better than the
at least if all the informations we have are correct
leo/abrams, but it is still a prototype and we dont know that much about him.
Pic semi related, its a Sturmtiger
It's a widely deabted subject, one which will likely never be answered, simply because everyone thinks their's is the best and they are unlikey to be tested in a real war against one another. I would (and do) say that the Challenger 2 tank (UK MBT) is the best but I am British so I am biased, but from an unbiased point of view I would have to say that the best tanks are ones that can fight in both high quantities and to the bitter end. So from that point of view the Russian T-90 would take the armoured biscuit, it's cheap to make, easy to modify widely employed and very easy to repair. Much like the AK-47 assault rifle, it's basic structure will be a staple in all of it's decendents because it works and it works damn fucking well.
However the true might of a battle is not decided by the strength of one type of fighting force, so considering the level of support offered the kind of world powers capable of producing the tanks we consider "the best" the tanks themselves are almost irrelavant, but more who employs them, how and with what other forces.
Leo2 and Abrams A2 both fill the same role pretty much the same.
Differances dont really matter in a real toe to toe situation, its all about who sees the other first, in which case they have equal chances to kill each other.
T72 or T80 is arguably too "the best MBT in the world" due to their production costs, cheap maintenance and "easy" handling, depends from your point of view.
T90-series has generally been seen as a failure, it is a MBT that tried to go western and failed... with huge production costs.
Wasn't the Challenger 2 considered a good tank too? I remember once hearing that only a Challenger 2 has successfully destroyed a Challenger 2.
not quite the chally 2 has never reall faced a legitimate enemy the worst it's ever recieved was a RPG-29 which penetrated its frontal armor, and once one got assaulted from all sides by old RPG 7s and a MILAN 1 and survived.
Challenger is like L85 as an assault rifle; Good idea filled with problems.
