You've clearly never been to Melbourne. It's like New California down there.

An absolute shithole that needs to be wiped off the face of the earth.

Do you deal with pillages, riots, rapes, murders, assault, oppression, etc, etc, because of toxic leftism, the disease known as "globalism", and islamic tyranny?

Then a couple in the stomach and let that soak in for a good couple of hours but make sure not to shoot those vital points! Then finish him off with a good 'ol fashioned executioner style. He deserves nothing less.

I was just thinking we go joint by joint until we either have no more bullets or no more criminal.
#48 - anon (10/06/2016) [-]
That's cruel and unusual. A bullet to the brain will suffice, we are not monsters.

You burn a man, alive, who fought against the darkest monster humanity has EVER seen, you're no longer human.

Eh, not many people are gonna agree with you, anon, but you're right. The point is to try to be better than that.

>Cruel and unusual.
The punishment should fit the crime.

If you don't want to be shot in your joints one by one until you bleed out, don't beat your elderly neighbour and light him on fire.
Basic math right there.

With each punishment you have to assume that it sometimes hits the wrong target. Maybe it is justified to punish this guy with such punishment, but even if, legalizing this as a punishment would mean that at some point in the future most likely someone wrong will receive it.

Personally i don't think anything more than lifelong prison sentence is neccercary. Death penality is expensive. Yes it is only expensive because we let people fight it out , there is alot of bureucracy and if we just took the guy to a backalley and killed him it would be cheaper than a McDonalds meal. But we can't always be sure whether its the right thing and sometimes when we believe we have the right guy we find out years later that its not. Keeping people in prison means you can get them out unharmed if they are innocent -even though they will have needlessly suffered-.

I wouldn't care much about what happens to him personally, he is a monster and irredeemable, however, i would hate having this jusitify a case where someone who appears to be guilty at first dies before being proven innocent.

If there was I would understand where you're coming from though.
Was there argument that it wasn't him though? Didn't he steal the van too?

The argument is not that this guy is innocent. The argument is that you have to apply the rules to all people equally. If you use the death penality or worse (something along painful killing) for all people who commit a crime with whatever criteria (and that can be really carefully set, for example "gruesome murder") in most if not all ways to phrase the requirement for the punishment you can't certainly avoid that at some point someone innocent gets hit by it. I don't find the idea ridiculous that there could be cases where the evidence looks overwhelmingly stacked against someone's innocence even though it is true that said person is innocent (for example someone could be framed to look guilty).

You can of course argue that i am argueing based on something with a low probability but i think even the possibility of a relatively low quantity of falsely killing people makes the death penality not worth it. You don't get anything other than emotional satisfaction from killing the killers and the same laws that allow you to get that could accidentaly be applied in cases where people are innocent. Even though the risk is low it is not something i consider worth taking.

Nah mate, think of it like this, I take your eye, you take mine in retaliation, I take your other eye, you're blind, I win.

More like you take my second eye, then my mate takes your second eye and so one. That's why it's not "an eye for an eye makes one dude blind and one dude half blind"

I agree here. Do you want to be him? Then don't repeat his actions. Death sentences are the only thing I barely accept, and even then, only with a very good reason.
