So "founder" is the new word for Indian killing rapists? Makes sense to fight for murderers.

Native American* i think we established the new world wasn't the Indies

They're called Indians, you can't just change words into something else because you feel like it. That's like calling Germans Native Europeans.
#306 - kyletheheartless (04/23/2014) [-]
Your ideology doesn't work considering that the Americas were not the Indies. Just because someone fucked up by calling them Indians when they weren't Indians, they were Natives of the land of which the Europeans called the Americas, making them Native Americans.

Learn history, retard. The fucking red skins have been Indian since the beginning so they should stay Indian.

No, that would be "conquistadore." You know how Columbus found the New World in 1492, but the USA didn't exist until 1776(ish)? Most of the raping happened in the intervening period. Indian killing, now, that's another story, but they did at least take a good long break to fight the British while founding the country.

Implying that Columbus wasn't a founding father.

isn't he Canadian?

No, he was born in america. How he is in the show Park and Recreation as Ron Swanson is how he actually is in real life as well and finds Canada as a joke of a government.

His political views are libertarian so basically he wants a lot of freedom and the smallest government presence as possible.

The thing is, the US cannot suddenly stop all the military interventions all-over world for a very specific reason. It would ruin american economy. Weapons manufacturing and sales of old military technologies is basically what keeps US afloat. Companies such as Lockheed-Martin are the cornerstone of american economy. Not to mention that sociologically speaking, US deals with most of its unselfsufficient lower class by shoving the young people from it into the military (most of the rest end up in prisons, which is another story).

TL;DR: USA cannot withdraw from the world conflicts. It needs them.

That may be on a certain level but as far as munitions production is concerned its mostly outsourced now a days especially ammunition. i do agree it is a major source of money for the U.S. but honestly i believe the debt of war is causing more harm then good.
#238 - tomjay (04/16/2014) [-]
I dunno, I've never heard that US would outsource munitions, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me bc military equipment is one of the commodities that is rarely outsourced (by the countries that are large enough to have their own sufficient manufucture, of course), for the obvious reasons. Do you have any article or anything about that? And yeah, the goverment spendings on war effort are humungous.

You can't justify doin' bad things because you also do good things.
I don't get to buy a kid a wheelchair and then break another kid's legs. It doesn't work like that.
Though I wish it did

oh no. can you think it, the Africans might get some money of their own. Middle-East might get some more money from their oil, that you are stealing.
They also might get an proper goverment, and not the basic C.I.A agent such as Saddam-Hussein.

we should be isolated though... its when america was great but the whole world would for us cry because we left them, but we need the isolation to get us back on our feet

The country needs to be stable before it can make the world stable.

One thing nobody ever want to consider is a North America that operates like Europe with the US divided into three or four separate nations, so that we aren't one enemy but several and maybe canada. I don't know the ramifications of doing this, though. I don't study geopolitics.

#258 - zealotgold (04/17/2014) [-]
well...... that would lead to its own problems because of our diversity power grids and what not but really the only state stable to be by it self, not shockingly is Texas because it can do everything on its own so im not too sure how it will all roll down and think that would be a bad idea

I want to see California become it's own country. It has everything it needs too. It would probably be a bad idea but, maybe like a good movie about it or something would be cool.
