| the best example it's Qui-gon jinn he was what we call a Grey Jedi, he got close to switch to the dark side but stayed on the right path #63 -
marcx (03/01/2015) [-] he technically wasnt a grey jedi though in the true sense most people thought of him as such though. qui-gon functioned more along the lines close to calista mings order. he understood himself and emotions better than most of the council. His knowledge helped him function as anakins master effectively since he wasnt taught since a young age to calm his emotions and passion. Thats why the jedi order always took young kids, easier to beat some stuff in a kids head and affect their development when young. Its why if not for his death anakin would have never turned to the dark side. shameless qoute from wookiepeedia "While the term was used to refer to Force-users who walked the line between light and dark, Jedi were also labeled as Gray Jedi for distancing themselves from the Jedi High Council. This practice dated back to the days of the Old Republic, when the High Council was attempting to consolidate power. Jedi who frequently clashed with the will of the Council were sometimes thought of as Gray even if they did not necessarily walk the line between the light and dark sides of the Force. Around 44 BBY, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn was thought of as a Gray Jedi by some members of the Order for his frequent opposition to their demands"

| You know there's a new product in development where instead of getting snipped, you get two small injections there instead that make you 100% sterile for 10 years, and if you ever change your mind another two small injections flush the whole thing away. Like it never even happened. Doesn't India give that to many young boys to prevent teenage pregnancy? I just knew there was some degree of use over there for a long time now. I hope it gets over here quickly, it's something I'd really be interested in. It's just that our qualifications for this kind of stuff is super high. Well sweet. I'm glad there's finally some way to do it. I always though it made more sense to empty the gun instead of firing at a bulletproof jacket. Well what it does, is this gel has a certain polarity to it, and your sperm have an opposite charge, and when they go through this gel polymer they get ripped apart as they go through. No chance they can make it through that so it ends up being 100% effective for pregnancy, and it's cheaper to make than the syringe they use to give it to you. So it's more like shredding the bullet as it goes through the barrel. That makes sense. | ||

jwfivehundred (02/27/2015) [-] He may have used the parts from some of them, but I know that he did the ps2 and xbox original without any hardware modifications. I'm not the guy who built it, so I don't have all the details. All I know is that with a 6 minute (when the coolant system works properly) reboot time, he can switch console operating systems on his computer. I don't know everything about it. My own pc does use emulators, because I'm too lazy to take the time for him to show me how to do all that. #182 -
marcx (02/27/2015) [-] yoshi box ftw. hell of a mod This is prolly something of what your uncle did. Or something similar to the to the pic which is 360/ps3 in pc case Inserting the hardware of any console into a pc case makes your point moot as its not installing the consoles software into the x86 pc. Your not installing the os/bios of any console into a x86 based pc period. X86 pcs can run any emulator you wish to put though #251 -

jwfivehundred (02/27/2015) [-] I never said the process was easy or cheap, but it can still be done. PC are the master race of gaming systems because of the flexibility you have while creating it. If my uncle were here, I'd have him explain it. He's done it. and it wasn't as expensive as you assume, as far as I know. Also I never said that a simple computer could handle it. It has to be all custom. #165 -
marcx (02/27/2015) [-] ok im going to explain this simply the only way to get a pc that runs all the consoles out side of emulation is to basically put the physical hardware of each console into a pc case and wire it to somehow run.Kinda like how teh dude did a ps3/360 in same case mod. or how benheck does his console to laptop mods. And with those mods they take parts of the consoles to make it work. An excert from an toms hardware thread "Different HW architecture, and specialized OS. Granted, the HW may not be anything special, but because you have EXACTLY ONE HW spec to code against, there is a lot of low-level coding that is used in games that would prevent them from running on a system that didn't have EXACTLY the same HW setup. Seriously, I've seen things coding down to the level where developers are making assumptions about bus timings. You never code like that on a PC because there is such a wide amount of HW, but on a console, you can, as each console is identical. As for the software, you have a specialized OS running APIs that simply don't exist elsewhere. Take the XB1: Sure, it's running Windows 8 under the hood, but a specialized version that's managed by a small RTOS kernel, running a specialized version of DX11, and various other APIs that a PC version of Windows simply doesn't have access to. Likewise, the PS4 is using a fork of FreeBSD, but has much the same differences as the XB1 version of Windows." So if you put that into your theory of running a pc like this. Would have to have a pc that runs sony specific cell architecture/ps2 specific emotion engine/psx hardware/ xbox hardware/360 hardware/ps4/xb1/saturn/etc Example original ps3 has hardware of ps2 to be backwards compatible.and thats one of the reasons why the original ps3s were so expensive(not including the cell architecture) Also is why the 360 isnt fully backwards compatible would have made the 360 more expensive to add hardware for it. They use emulation profiles to run each and every old game This doesnt include media issues with pc drives reading and playing most new game media. No regular pc drive can read 360/ps3 discs. They dont show up right unless running on specially coded drives within the system, or drives are compatible with special firmware which emulates a drive inside the console. Even ps3s are set up where if you loose the daughter board for your bluray drive(lets say it died and u wanted to replace the drive) without being able to remarry the new board with the ps3 mother board you can no longer play retail games. TLDR: Installing the bios/gameos of multiple consoles onto one pc without the use of emulators is impossible. The only way this is possible if for some reason every consoles os/bios came with an x86 coded version. with enough specs to make drivers for the multitude of pc hardware that is out there. You can set up a bad ass pc to run almost every retro console or run specialized versions of windows/linux to make your pc an arcade box/retro box/etc. I repair/mod/hack/build pcs and consoles. I know what im talking about. #170 -

| I'd imagine the holes would make the condom split apart rather quick and it would be noticed before the end... I've never tried it though, it's just a theory. It may just be a little leak. But now I'm kinda curious... When I actually want to have kids, I'm gonna have my husband try that to see if it splits right away. Or you can do it now. Just poke a few holes and ram it down on your dick. #62 -
anon (02/27/2015) [-] When me and my girlfriend used condoms, a couple of them broke. Believe me, you know when it does. Pricking a hole with a pin wouldn't work, you probably couldn't even put it on. The cases where somebody does get knocked up because of a breaking condom is probably just because the guy thought it felt too good to stop and put on another. #65 -
anon (02/27/2015) [-] If your condom breaks you're using it wrong. They're mechanically tested and the chances of breaking if used correctly are extremely low. You know there's a new product in development where instead of getting snipped, you get two small injections there instead that make you 100% sterile for 10 years, and if you ever change your mind another two small injections flush the whole thing away. deadfed (02/26/2015) [-] Well the hardest part for me was getting the gas/clutch ratio right in first. When you shift into first you gotta gas it a little as soon as you feel the vehicle move when letting off the clutch, when you shift into second you should be able to just let the clutch go and then gas it, but in first you gotta have a sort of balance between the two. I understand all the concepts of how to do it, but youre right I just need more practice.

deadfed (02/26/2015) [-] I understand the concept of driving a stick, but I never had much practice. I stalled it getting out of the driveway and my dad just said, "ok thats enough. Let me drive." I drove a stick around this field we were setting up an auction, and I rode the clutch becaue it wasnt all the way in first and it started smoking. My first car was an automatic because it was given to me, but I would really like to drive a stick. I just never can get anyone to try to teach me. #28 -
marcx (02/26/2015) [-] hardest parts of driving stick is starting and reverse. As both you have to start from a stopped car instead of in motion. Couple tips 1. when shifting clutch to floor always 2.when going in first and reverse push the gas as you let up a little on the clutch until you feel the car start to move. 3.never leave car in gear even when parked 4.make a habit when car is stopped or as your close to stopping always make sure to put gear in neutral(helps so you wont stall out as much when at lights or parking) 5.when starting clutch needs to be depressed 6.never push gas pedal to floor if clutch is engaged, should be opposite actions. if clutch is pushed gas is not touched. if gas pedal down dont touch clutch. this will help so you dont burn the clutch. out side of that just need practice. my first manual car i stalled out couple times just reversing out of the space. #30 -

I've been driving an automatic since 08. I honestly don't prefer one over the other. A car is a device I use to get me from point A to point B. Most of the time A is home, and B is work. When the time comes I'm going to buy whatever I can find for the best price, not what makes me feel manly.
