If god really had to abillity to do anything than there wouldn't be a need for the food chain and food would be dropping out of the sky. Unless he want to see us, his precious creations, running around being killed or hurt while hunting? And there wouldn't be a devil cause he would have the power to abolish evil, he is the most powerful being in the universe after all, so that shouldn't be a problem.

God created us to worship him. But what's the purpose of having something worship you if it's being forced? So he gave us free will, and a chance to live a perfect life with no sin, infection, truly and utterly perfect.
But we had to choose to obey him, by not eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Which you probably figured out that we disobeyed and ate of the tree, which opened our eyes to both good and evil.
At that point we started fucking ourselves over, we could of continued on the path of good but being opened to good and evil, it's easier to be evil than good.
We caused our own detriment. (We being us, humans.)

The fucking ridiculous thing is after disobeying God since the beginning of time, God graciously handed over His own son as sacrifice for us so we, (again meaning us all of humanity.) could live forever with Him in heaven.
