I would love to go to that camp myself but my family is having enough troubles with bills and i live so far away. Welp i guess i can continue swimming and walking outside.

That camp honestly looks so fun. But do you have any plans for people that can't go anywhere, ex. out of state. Any food/exercise plans? What was yours?

1. Don't worry about WHAT food you eat, just HOW MUCH.
2. This may not be for weight loss, but it sure helps your self-esteem, Make yourself look good, don't become one of those guys you see walking around outside with their gut hanging out, headphones in so they don't have to talk to anybody, wearing baggy sweats and a heavy coat. Hints: Black and horizontal stripes make you look bigger, so does clothes that are WAAAAAY to big for you, but the same rule applies for too tight of clothing. And a key thing is to have good posture, carry yourself with pride, don't slouch, EVER. people who slouch, fat or skinny, are in serious need of some class.
3. Don't be afraid to go out in a public and get comfortable with the body you are in. I know that sounds like some bull shit weight watchers would say, but it is so useful. Ironic coming from me though, because I got a crippling fear of going out in public, I haven't eaten in a restaurant in 2 years, I don't even go and buy my own video games because I feel like I will be judged for every single thing I do. Only places I eat are at home, camp, and at school, I eat at school because there are only 20 kids in my grade and I've known them so long I'm not embarrassed to eat in front of them, but even that I'm shying away from. I guess I need some work on this step as well.
4. Don't EVER make excuses, unless you have like fucking brittle bone disease and when you even stretch your pinky you break your dick (don't laugh I got friend that actually has this man, but he's pretty open about it.) don't say shit like "Uh it's drizzling, better cancel this workou-" FUCK THAT SHIT GET IN A BOAT AND START ROWING.

I actually went to the doctor's office today for a checkup and as usual i'm overweight. . Your story actually gave me a bit of motivation. 90-110 lbs in 10 weeks! i need to lose like 100. thanks again.

I'm a really lucky person, my family is well off and I can afford to go to the camp, it's almost 8000 every year for the summer.

But if you or your family have to money, PLEASE consider it, I'm not joking, I'd be dead without this camp, I would just continue in my ways without ever looking back, I didn't even own a scale before I started going to these camps.

And that 100 pounds wasn't easy, that was dedication to my body. But don't let that turn you off to the camps, just putting in the littlest effort pays off, last year I only lost 30 pounds in a month, and that was at around 200.

Even going for two weeks is SO worth it, and you can get 2 weeks at a fraction of the cost of a whole summer.

FYI - starches are a killer as far as weight-gain goes. They spike your blood-triglyceride levels, whereupon your body dumps extra insulin to cram it all into fat cells. That, in turn, 'fatigues' your body's insulin metabolism, leading to Insulin Resistance and Diabetes.

Don't be afraid to eat meat and eggs n' such. Fat and meat aren't 'the enemy'. That's all a bunch of corrupt modern-medicine rhetorical bullshit that's been proven wrong over and over again.

Beware - the first 2-6 months of trying to stop eating cheap starch (snacks/bread etc) will be tough b/c starch has addictive properties. You won't miss 'em after that.

Like I always say, it's not about what you eat but how much you eat. I still eat what I want, but I keep my meals to a certain amount each time. No calorie counting or anything, I just make sure I'm eating enough to feed my self and not starve myself.

Anyways, second year.

Sadly, I gained back about 70 pounds within the 10 months at home, I just thought that I could sit at home and eat and I would just not gain any weight, and every time I stepped on the scale and saw that I gained 3 pounds every week I just blamed my Thyroid problem.

Which, by the way, if any of you have and are using it as an excuse to keep eating whatever you want and not get in shape, stop. If you are letting something you (unfortunately) came across. Get your shit together. You don't have to work out non-stop all summer like I did, you don't even have to go out of your way to work out. Take the stairs, or just put down that fucking 9th Cinnabon. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO GO ON A FUCKING DIET. You only really need to do two things to stay in shape. 1. Don't sit at home pitying yourself over your weight, accept it. Look good being fat, don't be a fucking slob, walk with some posture, be polite and smile, get some nice clothes (might I recommend no horizontal stripes, it used to make me look like fucking Saturn. The other thing you need is portion control, like I said, how about only 5 Cinnabons this time? Every little step counts, Fuck I still chow down on all my favorite food, I'm a fucking addict for pasta, but I manage how much. And don't get turned off to portion control and watching your food by those dumbass fad diets, those are for fucking lazy ass people who think it will be a quick way to lose 50 pounds. You don't NEED to fucking only have a fucking teaspoon of popcorn, Just know when you're body is full, because your body is a fucking pro at portion control, and best of all, it is tailored to specifically YOU.

Well, I guess I can continue on about my second year.

For this year I changed camps, I went to (and still go to) Camp Pocono Trails in PA, a lot fucking farther then BC from where I live. This camp was about 10x the size and about 100x better.
