Not letting you in on the secrets seems like an....odd way of going about coaching you through painting. I would never have progressed without people giving me advice on how to improve.

Depends on what I'l trying to do with them. If I need to make a really dark shade, I'll dilute it a bit with thinner and do multiple, thin shades of wash. Otherwise, just a plain straight-from-pot wash works fine. If you apply it too thickly without thinning it, the wash tends to crack and look like ass; learned that one the hard way.

Honestly I'd digress there. As I had said to valour later in the conversation, any given RPG can be proportionately better or worse depending on whom you play with, and every game has integral strengths and weaknesses.

I was really just making a joke on how he'd said SWN has "everything sci-fi related" when GURPS has...everything, come to think of it.

Now that they are all really well painted they are probably worth more as well right?

Oh I don't expect to get even full retail value from them. But I bought most of them at 60% off of retail, so even if I sell 'em for standard 'used' price, I'll still make a pretty penny.
