octs (05/12/2012) [-] The Mayans had an entirely different system of days/years than we currently do. When modern people discovered the calendar they used in their language, they translated it into the modern Gregorian calendar. Since modern people did the translation they would have included leap years in their calculations. Hope I could help. | ||

| What doesn't make any sense? The mayan calendar is not the calendar we use so when people translated the dates on the mayan calendar to the gregorian calendar they accounted for leap years. #27

| Actually the Mayans built the calender before Julius Caesar created the leap year. Therefore it could not be accounted since February 29 was not an actual day until Julius Caesar created it. I mean the people in this time who translated the calendar to Gregorian accounted for leap year. BUT IT WOULDN'T MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE. WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE SO RETARDED. Not you. anonymous (05/12/2012) [-] He was giving his opinion about fortunaccount's opinion. How about you leave? I am actually planning on it. I've been going on reddit more and more. I just kinda stay on funnyjunk because of the ability to put pictures in your comment. I guess you don't care about that though. | ||
