mankey ONLINE (08/12/2015) [-] I work well with Tirtouga, Archen, and Ferroseed, since my physical attacks aren't as effective on poison flying and fairy types. Then you need a psychic to handle the ghost types.

mankey ONLINE (08/12/2015) [-] Depends on how you use him, Archen is more for hazard control. Jump in on things I can't handle, force them to switch and use Stealth Rock or Defog on the new comer.

mankey ONLINE (08/12/2015) [-] To be honest I don't know much beyond the immediate awesome on Mankey, but apparently Ferroseed is good at utility and good against poison and fairy types. Putting most points into defense and special defense, using leech seed to stay in and bullet seed to bash opponents. Stealth Rock works on switch ins and Thunder Wave keeps them docile while leech seed and bullet seed wears them down.

mankey ONLINE (08/12/2015) [-] Well, it depends on who I plan on going up against. In a normal situation I'd go with Defiant, but if I don't know who my opponents could be, a ghost type would slaughter me if I don't use Vital Spirit and Foresight.
Most of those items wouldn't work, I mean Choice Specs up special attack....completely useless to me. I'd go for a Choice Band from that list, or Choice Scarf if available. To increase either my attack or speed

mankey ONLINE (08/12/2015) [-] Yeah, that seems good, but if you're not going to go up against any ghost types then run the risk, drop Vital Spirit and go for defiant. Then if any ghosts *do* turn up, hope that my speed is fast enough to hit U-Turn before the lock me in with Mean Look or Hypnosis. Other than that I'm good with that build for scouting, send me out first to test the waters and slaughter them with Close Combat, or U-Turn out of there and bring in someone with more of an advantage.

I was trying to be helpful, trying to figure out why I couldn't get on to the website for the server. Someone said it might be the network and he said it's probably latency issues. I went and tried another site using the same network, came back and said I could get on there so it's not a network issue. Then he said "that's got nothing to do with latency and if you don't understand I can't be bothered to explain it."
