Woah there. You are missing part of that equation. 0^4 is 0 not 2.

Am I the only one who sympathizes with Ken Ham at least a little bit? I mean, he was just sticking to his convictions. Heck, for all we know he is actually right, the only reason we think he's wrong is because all the evidence points to that. I might disagree with his opinions, and frankly I don't like how often he mentioned the bible. I think people should consider the fact that 50 years down the road, they might be considered ignorant for taking evolution as scripture.
TLR I feel like Ken Ham takes more flak on the internet than he deserves.
Thumb me down please.

Well, yeah, I think the opinion's on the discussion are biased as fuck. Look, I'm not a christian, far from it, and I did find most of Ken Ham's arguments as bullshit, or at the very least bizzare. Nevertheless, I think that Bill Nye's speech was ways more manipulative and confrontative than Ken Ham's. There were examples of that throughout the whole video (the, in my opinion very theatrical, cry of "what about our childern?!").
You know what, thumb me down if you find this offensive in any way. This issue is way in the past anyway. It just makes me a little sad that there's again so much dogma in the modern discourse which built it's own image on destroying it.

But he knows what he is doing, he get votes for republicans, you think he is so dumb to completly don't believe in science?. No one is that dumb. There are people that like really really much when all they need to say "god want's it that way" to make people agree to everything else they say. Supply and demand, theres always supply for blind believers, there are people that will get you that in exchange for money. And they won't care how much stupid they look in the process, in 2 years noone will remember him but his bank account will be full.

Ham's free to believe whatever bullshit he wants, but he deserves the criticism he gets, because he's wrong. Not wrong for following Christianity, but wrong for believing creationism is fact when all evidence points to the contrary, and trying to push it in schools when it doesn't belong there.

I don't know anything about him outside of this debate, but I'm saying in the context of the debate there's nothing wrong with what he did. The point of a debate is to convince people of your side of the argument, obviously he's not going to agree with Bill Nye's evidence when he's trying to argue that creationism is actually what really happened.
Thumb me down please.

sticking to your convictions is fine but when you are trying to push those convictions on others such as this whole "Let us teach creationism in school" thing and people prove with science and reason that these convictions are wrong or atleast so highly unlikely and of no use in a science classroom then it is no longer a virtue.
