thanks a ton. I won't be online much anymore because of unforseen circumstances, but I'll take your advice to heart. I actually run a job right now at a local antique shop.

No I don't believe so. If the clock suddenly changed to 30 seconds, it would be a consequence of you changing timelines due to it's influence on your past and current timeline,
Or someone else reacting to the clock, or another variable that is paradoxically outside yet in the influence of timelines (much like the diaries in Future Diary)
so it could change once once again if you react to it's influence once again.
But if it constantly updated to you reacting to it's influence, it may constantly adjust, and in current/near life and death situations, it could spiral out of comprehensive convenience, becoming more of a worrisome burden when it matters the most. But if it strictly updated to the current timeline every 10 seconds (or some other set time), it could be more comprehensible if used intelligently, but still a burden in my opinion.
I for one am glad I don't need to worry about such. Though I feel paranoid at times and wonder if this up-beat hearth rythem is gonna lead to a heart-attack or this sharp headace is gonna turn up to be a tumor and I would love the reassurance there and then, I think it would worry me far more in the long game and possibly be the cause that kills me in the end, if not kill: then leaving me void at the end of my life looking back and regretting every chance I didn't take or every minute I worried instead of focusing on the more positive

Socialize more, and you may see a subsiding effect on your daily paranoia.
