Do you know how much money those movies MAKE? The actor's skill and reputation makes the movie money, so of course they get paid the most on an upwards scale. Well, the actor's likeness is plastered all over theaters, television, and the Internet prior to the release of the film. It is often the actor that brings in the crowds. I do think they deserve the money, I just hate when people complain that they make too much.

Same with professional sports. People go to games, watch them on TV, and buy merchandise, then complain that basketball players make millions.
