Mod tl;dr:
-Read the modguide mods.brcstar.co/
-As a mod, you should remain neutral when talking to users. Don't get involved in user arguments, or be aggressive to users (obviously you can still ******** around with your friends on boards etc)
-Don't abuse any mod powers or show regular users deleted comments, or anything you need to be a mod to see
-Don't address admin on mod-social or ask him for anything personally, don't ******** on that board, it's mostly just for admin to ask for help testing the site
-Don't tell users who flagged them
-If a user is bitching about being flagged, just link them the complaint form: /moderation+complaints (and tell them to put admin in the name field)
-Don't unflag anything unless you flagged it first
-PM me your skype name if you'd like to join the mod skype chat
-Unless certain you should flag something, ask other mods first
-The stickies on /modboard/ contain some useful information
-If you want to start reviewing OC, talk to tridaak or yojo first
-If you want to mod the **** section (probably not necessary, not a lot happens there) speak to wrinklynewt
-If you use chrome, there's a useful mod extension here: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fj-modtool/ijdldpdghacgnjacajblibllhklhkdjj
-It's good to post a few content's here and there when you can (you can just find content on imgur)
-Mod stats can be seen here to track your own activity /mods.html
If you have any questions, feel free to ask other mods.

Nice. I am going to BootCamp my Mac and use Windows for my gaming. They make Macs with some pretty decent graphics cards, so I won't be too lacking.

I also imagine the military will use Windows for whatever they train me in, so being familiar (not that I haven't used Windows before, on the contrary I used it for 14 years before switching to primarily Macs, just never for nothing serious) can't hurt either
