Cardio is anything that makes your heart beat at a faster pace than when you are at rest. Basically, if you have a brisk walk or if you jog for around 20 minutes, you should be fine. The higher impact of the cardio, the better your results.

Yeah for sure! First off, eating three meals a day isn't good for your metabolism. Your body is designed to eat small meals 5-7 times a day. If you eat 300-400 calories meals like that throughout the day, and combine it with some light cardio once a week, you'll be really surprised with the results. If you want to build muscle, eating chicken is very important. Combining chicken with rice is huge because chicken is high in protein (35 grams per breast I believe) but it's super low in carbs. Rice is super high in carbs, but has no protein. Carbs are very important because they provide you with energy, but are also very dangerous because your body turns excess carbs into fat. So in short, eat meals that are high in protein and medium in carbs for gaining muscle. If you aren't trying to gain much muscle, avoid a lot of bread and pasta. Those are high in carbs, and like i said earlier, if you aren't working out a lot, it will turn into fat.

Okay cool makes sense. Any recommendations for cardio? I walk a lot, to uni and back (Half hour either way) and I walk my dog but that's about the extent of it.
