- stupid question: how do you get fit? as in do you ga…
I did both. the thing is more muscle mass will burn fat faster so there's a benefit to weight training along with cardio but a lot of people choose to do just cardio first which is fine. most important of all is diet though
does cardio kill gains? and how did you do both at the same time? i wanna be lean/semi muscular with huge hips, dont ask why.
cardio definitely doesn't kill gains and I can tell you that the really ripped looking dudes are doing cardio multiple times a week or maybe everyday. For a beginner just work out 3 times a week and run everyday or every other day. I work out 6 days a week now but i haven't been doing a lot of cardio recently since i got sick. Most important is diet, if you have some fat on you then you need to cut out all soda and orange juice or and fruit juices and cut out most breads and pastries.
fruit juices? but isnt fructose fine for you?
no not for weight loss/cutting fat%. most fruit juices actually have added sugar and when you learn how to read food labels(mostly just comparing) you can see that most fruit juices and soda are exactly the same. it's not really about the ingredients it's about the contents of sugar and calories and they have a lot of both. water is your best friend.
If you have a home juicer and make your own juice, with no added shit, fruit juice is good for you. (as long as you moderate how much you take, gallon a day is bad)
But store bought juices are a huge no. Unless you buy one of those ultra organic in health stores, but then its really just cheaper to buy a juicer.
Sugarless lemonade is really good for fat removal, but most people can't stomach it.
I agree with this 100%. Fruits are a major part of my diet, mainly apples and bananas.
its probably better to do cardio to get lean and toned, then adding muscle becomes a lot easier
