The argument from ignorance and argument from design have been so heavily trashed that all I can say is that It's not surprising to find life in a place that is suitable for it. It would be surprising however to find life somewhere that is not suitable, like the accretion disk of a black hole.  Toupee Fallacy in action None of the barren worlds in the galaxy ponder why there's no life Obviously only a planet with life can ponder it, so of course they think they're special Let's say it WAS all random chance, and this DID really occur that way. gloriousthighs (10/06/2015) [-] I may not be a scientist myself but ask pretty much any qualified person and they'd disagree with you there. We aren't special in the sense that we were the only chance of life and everything happened to be perfect. It's that the universe is so massive that the chance of life not reaching our stage somewhere at some point is incredibly unlikely on it's own. We are very likely not the only part of space that has life. | ||
