A large portion of the SNP's plan for independence relies on oil prices, a constantly unstable and unreliable market. I'll start listening to all this bull on clean energy when our government actually shows some initiative in starting to properly fund these projects. I am in favour of a nuclear deterrent so talking about trident doesn't put me off. The way the worlds going we might need it soon. I am also in favour of a referendum on the Westminster voting system (which was shot down because not enough people actually do their research) and further devolution of powers. Why split up a union which would leave us without allies and an adequate platform on the world stage? The UK has an extremely favourable position in the UN, European union and the NATO agreement, Scotland leaves this we lose all this (plus having to adhere to strict EU requirements IF they let us join again). America has already released a statement saying they would be weary of investing or partnering with an independent Scotland, as it would be very unstable for the first few decades. I have yet to see one reputable fact surrounding all this insane money we're supposed to make, in fact I have clearly seen the opposite when browsing the scottish governments own records. The YES campaign and the SNP can't even agree on what currency to use, the entire things is a shambles. Why not invest in all these things first THEN hold the referendum? The entire thing is backwards to me. Nobody has answered any questions surrounding the military, investment, the EU, the NHS, Education. I don't understand gambling everything we have to become a much smaller and weaker country. I am studying a degree in politics and would also like the opportunity to work in both parliaments in the future. I have worked for the SNP in the Scottish parliament itself. They're all barking mad.

You aint turning my opinion around, I've spent faaaaar too much time researching. The YES campaign relies solely on hate for the English and misrepresented facts (such as blatantly lying on their leaflets about the state of the countries economics).
