FFS, this was intended as whimsy. Why do you buggers get so hung up on who made what? I'll put world wide web next time, just for you.

He's right in a way.
The first computer network was at some uni in England, but it was just proof of concept.
The first functional network was built by CERN, but the internet as we have it was made by DARPA.
Even then, a Brit invented http encoding, creating web browsing as we know it.

Giving credit to any single person or nation for creation of the internet is fucking stupid.

Wi-fi (what satalites use in to contact earth and other things use it too) i think wi-fi was invented by russians cause the first satalite was calles sputnik 1 and was sent to space. Can't remember which year.

See above comment; I forgot how needlessly pedantic people can be.

Nah, it's only lost its meaning because of dumb bigots like you.

Hah. If you're born in America, you're American. Meaning that there's a damn good chance that your ancestors immigrated over from Europe, Africa, or Asia. If you are not one of those, and have ancestors who are originally from America, pre-colonization, then you are Native American. So yeah, uhh.. it remains to have very much significance and meaning, especially in North and South America (Australia and New Zealand too). Of course the legal term for it remains to be Indian, thanks to old Chris Columbus and his lack of geographical knowledge.

If you're born in America. You're American. You're also native to the land you were born, so therefore you are a Native American.

everyone would be Native African with your theory

Um, Native Americans came across the Bering Sea Bridge. Why are they natives? Is it just a time thing then?
#60 - hellfiazz (05/17/2013) [-]
They were the original human inhabitants, and so they are the natives.

Not New Zealand. Apparently the Maori nearly killed off all the natives when they first colonized this country.

Not every country considers you native just for being born there

A person born in a specified place or associated with a place by birth, whether subsequently resident there or not.
people can choose weather they agree with this statement or not, but that doesn't change the meaning of native.
