Maybe... I think that the only stable way to time travel is to access an alternate universe where you can really just do whatever you want and not have serious temporal consequences. So (if you were to time travel) it would be pretty damn hard to get back to your HOME universe.
You would need to try MILLIONS of times, if not TRILLIONS.
And time travelling ONCE would take some pretty energy-consuming and
irreplaceable parts.

Imagine if your time-machine broke down 250,000,000 years ago.
It missed a crucial component and you can't replace it without other very
high-tech individuals.

You would be stranded without any hope of human contact for another 249,999,000 years.
I'd go insane if I weren't already.

Did you know that Alexandria had steam engines, physicists, schools, and theaters?
And that somebody wrote a book about ROBOTS?

NOPE The rules are what makes this interesting.
I would get a gun registry and get all the ammo I can find, a rifle, a machete, and maybe some traps.
Then , I would go back to Alexandria in Grecian times and save the library with my futuristic traps and weapons.
THEN I would go to the year 1500 and see what the fuck happened, and use my future knowledge to give this era a bunch of useful inventions, and become a prophet of logic and reason.

About that, apparently healers who had medicine to relieve childbirth pain where prosecuted as witches because of it.
And it's kinda unfair to curse all of womankind with horrible pain for the deeds of one,
isn't it?
I dunno, it's almost like hating Germany for the holocaust, It happened GENERATIONS ago.

Yes i remember that story but think about it like this if that story is real the forbidden fruit is the reason why men in the world are the way they are today and god had to punish is so that we wouldnt live forever in war and hatred against each other so he caused death to happen to the world and the women who ate the forbidden fruit and forced the man to eat it causing it all to happen to suffer from horrific pain

HOWEVER the bible shouldn't be taken seriously. Did that one guy get swallowed by a whale? Probably not, though I'm sure the bible has many great morals and lessons, I think that most of it should be taken with a grain of salt.

I mean, if god is all-knowing and we are all his children, wouldn't he love us despite our differences? If a mortal man can love his homosexual son, than an wise superbeing should have been able to since the beginning of time!
User avatar #716 - lucasazara (01/18/2012) [-]
yes god loves all his children but christian take it too far and say god hates gays and the problem is in the bible god gave us free will we could do what we want then when eve ate the forbidden fruit they started seeing everything different and wrong which is why god banished them and cursed mankind with death and for women the pain of childbirth
#735 - oopster (01/18/2012) [-]
