Well yeah I agree he had peaked already but psyhological trauma is something that can be repaired it just takes time and effort of course. Not only it can be repaired he can even become stronger in that manner. Not saying it is likely but human mind is a tricky thing and it all comes down to him.

Knowing Silva, he'd throw a legkick off the bat just to prove people wrong. Also, I read that he doesn't consider it a loss, so I don't know if that specific thing will bother him that much. I just hope he comes back and can put on some more fun performances.

I don't know about that, really. I mean, it was all one injury. A broken leg isn't one of those injuries where it happens and then keeps happening. He may not be 100% but who ever fights at 100% anyway?

BTW, are you watching Rockhold vs Phillipou tonight?
User avatar #44 - iom (01/15/2014) [-]
i heard he was going to back in the ring with a metal plate in his leg
User avatar #47 - memeinmycoffee (01/15/2014) [-]
I don't know THAT much about healing broken bones but I believe the metal plate is closer to the inside of the leg. Also, they sometimes remove the metal after the bone is completely healed.

TL;DR he's already superhuman enough, I don't think it's going to affect much.
User avatar #43 - lstimpact (01/15/2014) [-]
Its not just the physical damage, it's the psychological trauma of being beaten by someone he considered inferior, many of his once fans think he's a dick and plus he'll never want to use a leg kick ever again.

And no i probably won't be unfortunately

User avatar #78 - lstimpact (01/15/2014) [-]
His best days are behind him and the psychological trauma will have affected him far beyond this. To be fair i've never broken a bone, closest i've come is dislocation and deep muscle damage
