| No, I read it on some website that they're trying to develop lasers that are powerful enough to push large objects in space. Both for reaching near speed of light speeds with spaceships and for moving meteors away from the earth by pushing on them using the power of the lasers a long time before they're even getting close to the earth. | ||

| what I meant that you Included the price of games for the console , but you didn't Include the price of games for the PC setup , also you added the price of a "kinect" which is an unnecessary gimmick , Its an unfair comparison , as for the other features you mentioned all of those can be accomplished by a 300 usd laptop , and the console owner wouldn't need a 1000 usd PC ........ Trust me, a 300$ usd laptop and photoshop/Sony Vegas/3Ds Max is not a good combination. But anyway, my point is that the PC can do so much more and you don't have to wait 8 years to upgrade it, you can upgrade it when you want and in parts instead of getting a whole new system. And if something breaks, you get a new part, you don't have to send your whole system in for someone to repair it for you and charge for both the part and the repair job. You can play games, for both consoles and PC's. You can install what you want on it and you can designe the whole thing yourself, both on the outside and on the inside. You can make it as quiet as you want, as powerful as you need, as cheap as you can afford and as awesome to look at as you feel like. It's just imo a much much better experience, but the COD lovers just can't see that and claim that it's just way to expensive and blablabla without knowing anything about it before they start talking. It's just getting to a point where it's reallly starting to get on my nerves. And for the console lovers who always say "gameplay before graphics", you don't even have the right to say that the PC is expensive, just turn everything down on low and you'll get the console experience for cheap. /rant | ||

| Ok , lets assume you got a decent pc for 830 usd , now you would need to buy games for it ? , and before you suggest piracy , i would like to tell you that piracy is also an option for consoles , that's just one reason , also there are console only titles , some of these are epic , and you are missing out ..... There are also PC only titles. You told me my logic was flawed on so many levels and yet you only point me to one flaw that isn't even really a flaw. What. PC games are also much cheaper and if you decide to actually pirate something, you don't have to mod it to do so. You can also use the PC to make movies, edit photos, browse the internet, download movies off of TPB. what I meant that you Included the price of games for the console , but you didn't Include the price of games for the PC setup , also you added the price of a "kinect" which is an unnecessary gimmick , Its an unfair comparison , as for the other features you mentioned all of those can be accomplished by a 300 usd laptop , and the console owner wouldn't need a 1000 usd PC ........ | You made up most of that shit. Plenty of good xbox games for 5 bucks, you don't need new ones. also you can get good xbox's for 150. for PC's an actual good gaming PC will run you at least $1500, then if you're a gamer you'll be upgrading parts when they come out, which new graphics cards are a few hundred dollars, PC gaming is far more expensive. I'm not saying what side I support, but your comment was incorrect. Also you said a new TV? Most people already have a TV. But what you don't know is that consoles are tailored to run games differently, a PC of equal CPU to an xbox 360 will not run the games nearly as well as the xbox. First of all, tell me what I made up? Plenty of good xbox games for 5$? Show me where I can buy a fresh copy of a good game for 5$ and plenty of them. No, don't even start. Claiming that you need to use 1500$ to get a good gaming PC is retarded, you're obviously a console lover or just not right in the head. You don't need to be upgrading left and right unless you want to play the games with incredible graphics on the highest of the highest on graphics settings. But if we're gonna talk graphics, you might aswell throw your console into the ground as it wouldn't even handle a mediumly looking PC game on any higher than low and 1280x720. Ok , lets assume you got a decent pc for 830 usd , now you would need to buy games for it ? , and before you suggest piracy , i would like to tell you that piracy is also an option for consoles , that's just one reason , also there are console only titles , some of these are epic , and you are missing out ..... The thread was full so I'm continuing here.
There is a HUGE difference between religion and believing in God. Religion is an organized system of rituals based on what you believe you are expected to do to honor whatever god(s) you worship. But you can believe in a higher power without committing to the framework of a specific religion.
The Wikipedia article which lists the demographics of atheism in America says that as of 2010, 16% of Americans have no religious affiliation, but it does not say that they don't believe in a god.
"The latest statistics show that a lack of religious identity increased in every US state between 1990 and 2008. However less than 2% of the U.S. population describes itself as atheist." - http://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Demographicsofatheism#North_America
