Shokugeki no soma is great don't get me wrong, and it has a ton of potential as an up and comer. I can't recognize it on the same scale though, and plus Bambino (Tetsuji Sekiya) and Bartender (Araki Joh) surpass it in story and depth. One punch man, is one i tried reading and couldn't really enjoy the taste. Maybe i should give it another shot. Prison School is great, but relies too heavily on the ecchi to make it appealing for my taste. I prefer Rainbow (Abe George, Kakizaki Masasumi) as it it has more story and unique flavor. Inu Yashiki is one i haven't tries before, and am willing to try. Hunter x Hunter has always been one of the greats in my opinion, and im glad is making such a comeback lately.

Shingeki no Kyojin is also pretty strong right now, but the age of long-running shounen manga is mostly over. SoL and 4koma still have their niche, but there is no major dominating force anymore. From my perspective, the brands with the most power right now are SnK, HxH and OP as background forces, EVA, and Fate. Gundam is making a revival in both east and west, but there is too much of it for most people to really get into, and westerners are retarded about robot shows.
The market has no kings right now, and I kinda like it. All the small stuff gets a chance to shine, its a good time. Can't wait for Kubo to give a hilariously bad ending with a twist to end all twists.

Yeah it;s pretty much the end of the era of the three kingdoms. I guess its time for the turbulent era of the warring states once again. It was always sad to see good series get outshined by the big three honestly. A lot of series started gaining popularity with the unfortunate downturn of the quality of naruto and bleach. To be honest the ending of naruto feels way too rushed, and is rather confusing. However i am looking forward to what is to come. Maybe we will see a pauper king arise, like Air Gear was.

Are you reading Biorg Trinity? OH Great seems to have embraced the weird confusing style from the later half of Air Gear and is making a beautiful mess. Honestly you might as well get into the older stuff, predating our generation (17-21 year olds), like Go Nagai's stuff, Gundam, Slayers, and the like while just looking for manga with quick rises in popularity.
There was some edgy superpowers manga with an invisible dragon dude and people getting pickpocketed in the first chapter but I can't remember the name. That might be something worth finding again.

Sword art online looks pretty great, its a new generation creator hopefully. I just hope it doesn't go the .hack route and die out into obscurity. Blue Exorcist is supposed to be pretty good too. Its going to be hard to replace naruto and bleach...they defined generations and helped bring anime/manga in favorable views.

They ended it with the brothers fighting some demon and leaving us with a cliff hanger where the younger brother actually has his own devil powers or something of the sort.
Unless they continued the anime and i have not heard of it but im pretty sure they did.
And yep we still got a ways to go before luffy finds one piece!

I think my jetlag version got the swastika, hell, even the camp level was quite vivid. I had fun poking at the sick and the dying. A bit pissed off at the idea ofmGerman engineering must depends on a Jewish Tech Cult for advance technology. Those fuckers invent awesome tech, yes, but they keep it for themselvea, locked away in a storage vault. The German Nazi use them to build a fucking MOON base, in the fucking 60s.
Stupid Fictional jewish Cult....

Well, the way i see it, with the experiments they made on him to give him that healing factor, he got cancer, skin cancer i think, can't remember.
The cancer is constantly killing him, and he is constantly healing back.
Deadpool whitout cancer would be a dude generating too much flesh and skin to the point whre his body would ''explode'' under the weight, then he'd heal back, and repeat the cycle
#46 - StinkyCheese (11/04/2014) [-]
The experiments didn't give him the cancer, he already had it. That's why he was having the experiments done in the first place. The cancer isn't constantly killing him, his regenerative powers is fighting the cancer constantly.
Binge read the comics not that long ago.

Wait wait, i thought it was that he "had" cancer upon entering the weapon X project, which gave him regenerative abilities to counteract the cancer. so the cancer continually deteriorates his flesh, which continually regenerates. At least that's how they explained it when he fought off the skrull in the big comic book volume i got. The skrull tried to take him and use his DNA to create an entire army of Deadpool Skrulls after he convinced them he was "superior", but supposedly the regenerative abilities had no cancer to keep it in check, and that resulted in the new skrull army deforming from overgrowth and excessive regeneration. I might be wrong, but that's how the comic i read explained it o.O

Hm. Weird. I'm not surprised we're confused, though. Wilson started out not only as a parody of Deathstroke, but he was created in the fucking 90s era of bullshit gritty characters by Rob "What the Hell is Anatomy?" Liefeld. I'm surprised his character managed to survive that clusterfuck of bad ideas and get rewritten into the awesome, sometimes-hilarious character he is now.
#27 - darkoblivion (11/04/2014) [-]
He definitely had cancer before he got his powers in the versions i'm familiar with, he was offer a the weapon x program as a chance to cure him in an experiment. And while the experiment succeeded his cancer remained and hs new healing factor kept him alive. Then comes rthe speculation into what actually drove him insane before he became the deadpool we all know.
#20 - schneidend (11/04/2014) [-]
Nay. His body is literally covered in tumors from regenerating too efficiently and thus generating new cells he doesn't need. At the same time, his regenerative abilities kick in and keep those tumors from growing and killing him. So, yeah, basically his own body is a fucked-up paradox.
