I found this game poopy. So much repetition that I got bored after about 5 hours of playing. I give it a 12 mehs out of 30 fucks given.

If you torrent it you will miss out on all the online stuff which is REALLY helpful. It is semi-tedious but I love it. Idk, it's more fun when you have friends you can talk with and help guide you along.

Let's put it this way. Do you like RPG's? Do you like Challenges? If yes, you should give it a shot. It's a relatively challenging semi-open world RPG. Basically, it's really hard until you learn how to play the game right and where they hide enemies and what enemies are hard and what their attack patterns are. There is a way to do co-op to an extent which you can research through any of the helpful wiki's. There are also ways to do PvP which is what is going on in the GIF above. The currency in the game is "souls" and you use them to level up and purchase things. You gain souls by defeating enemies and by using some consumable items. After you beat the game you can start the game over with the same character on New Game + which makes the enemies much harder. After you beat it again you can do New Game ++ and so on for I think forever, and they get harder each time (though the difference between + and ++ is a lot less than the difference between your original and +)



TL;DR:

EHh, sounds okay I guess. Sounds complicated as shit. I imagine there's a lot of redundant, tedious things you have to do in order to be rewarded for things. Although I could be wrong. I may torrent it somewhere and check it out.

Accidentally posted before writing my TL;DR somehow...

TL;DR: The game was good enough for me to buy it twice, once for PS3 and once for PC. The game is challenging but fun. Use the wiki's and learn from your mistakes and you will find it very enjoyable.

PS: The story isn't very deep so if you look for that in an RPG this might not be the game for you, though I would still recommend it to anyone.

The story and Lore is amazingly deep if you take the time to look into things. E.G. Read Item descriptions
