Now I usually look through the frontpage maybe 50-100 posts after I've gone through the good threads on /b/

I actually made this up about an hour before I posted it. You pretty much start with the last line, and the story develops from there. Think of a random ass quote from any popular tv show you've ever seen, then create a story around it that is seemingly completely irrelevant. Boom, you've got yourself a greentext.

The thing is, it depends on person who plays/reads it. Some get hit harder than others because some can relate more to the story/character etc.

Let's take me as an example: Clannad hit me pretty hard, shed one or two manly tears. Katawa Shoujo however let me cry like a little bitch, especially Lilly's route was a rollercoaster of emotions. The funny thing is, I always perceived myself as an cold person because I almost never give a fuck.....almost.

Uhm... I've tried it and played through Emi's story and with both the good and bad ending. But now I gotta say, it really isn't that sad as it's hyped up to be. Sure it has its ups and downs and what not, but it will both make you smile and sad. Personally I didn't cry to this, however it did make me feel sympathy for a non-existing character, which not very mane games/films make me have.

TL;DR: On a sadness scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is like 'The walking dead' ending sad, I would only place it on a 7, but then again I've only played it through once.

All right, well I'm still not looking forward to it then. Cool... guess I'll just have a tissue box ready and set up a happy songs playlist. Thanks G.
