I don't actually care who gets an oscar I just like to be entertained. If I had to give and oscar to someone in django unchained it would probably be the doctor guy who frees the black guy. The black guy doesn't do that much acting he's just like the center piece of all the gun action. Just giving my opinion based off of one movie.

I've only seen him in Django Unchained and I only watched that due to all the hype about how he cut his hand and kept acting. What other movies doe-wait is he the guy that played on Titanic?

To be honest, I think he's faded to the point where he plays the same kind of character each film now. Notable exceptions being Shutter Island and Django.

He should have won for What's eating Gilbert Grape...incredible performance and better than anything any young actor from this generation could achieve.

He's an incredible actor who very easily and very convincingly acts his role no matter what situation arises.

In Django, he cut his palm on that glass completely on accident and did not give two shits. He even used that as a new prop, casually picking the glass out as if it was supposed to happen.

He's a committed actor with a lot of talent.
