While it is true that people can only get guns to a certain size limit, the biggest guns go to the armies and navies of the world who put the. On boats and trucks.
That beings said: can't get a bigger stick? Get MORE sticks just in case one breaks

Then it's the 00.01% that are the freaking idiots that mess it up for everyone else. You can't deny when a few mess up, a large group can, has and will be blamed for what's happened.

Im just going to state my believe and point now:
Education would be far more effective of a tool, than restricting firearms, when attempting to reduce accidents/crime.

Just like the war on drugs has prompted more drug related-crimes, restricting of firearms would do the same.

Im assuming its a joke, but still, guns don't break.
They're also heavy, AR-15s only run in the 5-8lb range, but their mags, when full loaded can weight around a pound.
AK-47 civilian variants weight around 9-10.99LB Avoiding a 9/11 joke and have the same weight for magazines.
Its incredibly impractical to use an automatic weapons, or more than just a few handsguns/rifle+handgun.

The stick thing was meant as get more guns for when you run out of bullets.
Nothing left in your Colt .45? Get you dessert eagle
Got nothing left for you dessert eagle? Get your shotgun
No shells left? Get your hunting rifle
Etc etc so on and so forth

Yes it is a minute number but there are people who have a large, still active, gun collection which is way bigger than it needs to be.
Personally I think a pistol and a hunting rifle is all you need, one for protection and one to get your own food with.

This is the classic "get a bigger stick". You have a stick but they have a stick as well, so you need a bigger stick to have an advantage, so they get a bigger stick and you get s bigger stick etc etc.

I know humanity is the cause of it own down fall, we're so smart and yet so fucking stupid at the same time, add in things that can give us a cause to fight for such as religion, personal beliefs and politics and it gets fucked even more.

England once had an empire that nearly spandex the whole world, but we lost it.
America was once the country nearly everyone looked up to to become better, but now that's been lost.

What's the old saying? The higher you climb the harder you fall? Shit like this shouldn't be happening and it breaks my soul every time I hear it on the news

Unlike most cases, guns have a limit to how big they get.
Most mass shootings are done with rifles, and it isn't practical to use a machine gun.
Most CCers carry pistols, and thats been consistent over the last 250+ years.

>Humans + Guns? Huge fucking retards that mess everything up
That's incredibly rude, and dumb thing to say.
99.9% of guns owners can live entire lives without having a dangerous accident.

I bet I know more about gun control than most Americans who hear the world "tighter", "restriction" and "guns" and think OH NO!! Someone's trying to take 'way much gun freedom dislike that fact it can save hundreds of lives.

Seriously, 12y/o "owning" guns, under parents names til they're of legal age but it's theirs, which are semi and fully automatic? Fucking retarded to the max
#31 - tarnishedarmor (03/09/2016) [-]
alright i am a gun owner ive lived with guns most of my childhood im also a gun owner who is in favor of some gun control i believe in better back round checks and even universal registration if its proposed right. that being said i can see where the fear of other gun owners and how they think people want to take there guns away because we have seen other nations give up there gun rights. and that is there right i dont agree with it but its there choose.

as for your second point of the 12 y/o "owning" a gun i ask you what is the problem with this in my case and granted this how we did it in my family how ever a lot of my Friends family did it the same way. when i was 13 i got my first gun for Christmas. it was a little .22 and it was mine. so when ever we went out shooting it was the gun i used. when we were not shooting it was kept in my fathers gun safe just like my play station was mine but if i was being a little shit it to went in to the gun safe. when i got older and my dad thought i was responsible enough my dad would let me take it when i would go shoot with my friends. latter he gave me the combination to the gun safe and i would use his guns.

also whats wrong with a semi automatic guns a lot of civilian guns are semi automatic and fully automatic are restricted in most states or out right illegal and any one who lets a child shoot one i s a little retarded not until they are strong enough to control the gun when it kicks .

ps sorry about the long reply and any grammatical errors

it's not the fact of the kid having a gun, it's that they were semi and fully automatic. That's too much for a kid. .22 pistol, hell most pistols are fine to teach your kid with but its like you say, anything beyond that has too much kick for a little kid. It's excessive and isn't needed.

Breaking it all down, guns are like drugs and cigarettes, kids need to be taught in school how dangerous they are and what can happen if used wrong. Looks cool in movies and games, totally different in real life. Being taught by family or teachers how to properly handle a gun, why isn't that done anyway all across America? Across the whole world even?

>This is the classic "get a bigger stick". You have a stick but they have a stick as well, so you need a bigger stick to have an advantage, so they get a bigger stick and you get s bigger stick etc etc.

Just like the war on drugs has prompted more drug related-crimes, restricting of firearms would do the same.

i respect your point and see where you're coming from, the bigger question now is which do you think the American government is going to try and do?

I actually hope it's the education because it's a more peaceful way for the the future generations.

Ditto.

Obviously they're going to restrict em, thats what people do when there are things they don't understand.

>I actually hope it's the education because it's a more peaceful way for the the future generations
Again, ditto.

Mmmmmmmm dessert.
Puns aside, as i stated, its far more practical to carry 1, maybe 2 guns, for mass shootings. Any others will be dead weight.

"Need" TRIGGERED I hate that word sometimes.

This is talking about accidents when mass shootings are done with malicious intent and are done on purpose because the person is mentally ill or religious or bullied so much they feel driven to shootings.

What?
You mean that there are accidental mass shootings where a gun slips out of someones pocket and shoots 4 people?
User avatar
#18 - comicfun (03/09/2016) [-]
The title of the thing is call is called "Accidental Deaths"
Deaths in a shooting is not accidental, they are done on purpose.

I misread your comment.
And i apologize for this one, i though it was on the topic of mass shootings.

Mass shootings kill very few people compared to overall crime, and are extremely overexaggerated.
Dump incoming btw.

That's because mass shootings are much rarer compared to the other crimes, so of course the figures are going to be comparatively low. Now matter how you split it the figures won't support,
