I think you're being a bit optimistic when you say most. They're not on the front page this regularly because we're mocking them, we love them for their pseudo-intellectual bigotry.

been saying this to my grandparents and mother who somehow think that saying "you're gonna catch a cold" 3 times a day and hitting it on the nail once in 6 months or more somehow makes them right

I see /pol/ like amateur detectives,
I think they should get credit where credit is due
In the words of Oreki:
"In a scenario with two equally plausible answers, choosing the right one is just a matter of luck."
And there are smart people for every group of idiots.

/pol/ guesses work on the same principal that Nostradamus' did. Make vague guesses based on things that have already happened, or things that you think will happen and watch as people worship you when you get a few right.
Only different is that Nostradamus put more effort into it, and actually made some art to go with it.

But with 2 or 3 machine guns for one autocannon? I don't know man. Regardless, I do think that the fighters should have ways to engage infantry besides their machine guns, but I don't think Air-to-Surface rockets existed during the Great War. I'm okay with historical accuracy being toyed with a bit, but not so much that it becomes an altenate-history kind of deal you know?

But strafing with machine guns is still a thing and arguably more dangerous as there's a much larger amount of lead flying at you from those guns than with the large-bore cannons used on modern fighters. I'm still curious whether or not the fighters will be getting secondary armaments or not.

The RPM of modern 20mm can be higher than the 7.62 or 7.92mm MG's used during WWI.

You can see rockets on one of the bi-planes in the trailer:
0:41
For a split second, it may take a few replays to see.
I think they will be an unlockable, because why would they go through the effort to add something so minuscule?

I'm taking everything in the trailer with a grain of salt just because we've all been burned by hype over trailers in the past. As far as aircraft work, I'm going to give it a wild guess and say that we'll get fighters and bombers, with the bombers being multi-crew and maybe being able to choose between different munitions like standard bombs, flechettes, firebombs, gas, etc.

AA-wise, I imagine they'll use "automated" AAA guns to defend the spawns like in BF4 and probably dot the maps with manually operated emplacements in strategic locations. I don't remember any man-portable anti-aircraft weapons existing then though, so it should be interesting to see how they make infantry less susceptible to strafing.
