I don't want to start a huge debate, just would like to point out that the economy is largely affected by current trends, including a president and his policies. The stock market is directly correlated to the economy as a whole. As such, the stock market is a good indicator of how the American and global economies are doing. If no one saw, the stock market dropped a stunning 313 points on Wednesday after the election, and another 121 today. That should be a fair point to show that businesses within America don't trust their money in the system during current economic situation, which apparently plunged after President Obama won re-election. That should show that the President's financial policies aren't beneficial to the current US economy.
