In Genesis, there are 7 days (Which was probably mistranslated from cycles or steps) in which God creates the everything. If you compare the order of creation side by side with the big bang theory and the theory of evolution, they match up.
You have to ignore the dinosaurs but remember this was written by man and passed down by word of mouth for thousands of years so expecting something they had nothing to compare to be included would be a little crazy.

It's a little far fetched, but it's the only part of the Bible that talks about the creation of the universe so it's all we have to go on.
