Just level 1, though they are using archetypes from some of the advanced books, so they were a lilttle more powerful then a typical starting group. The only real melee guy was away sick, so everyone was either casters or hybrids between casting and melee. They still had a lot of options though, and used them well.
By the way, adding the culverin was only a slight upgrade from how the adventure was original set up. It was originally a balistae that had largely the same stats, just a larger crit modifier, but at the same time a chance to blow up if it rolls 2 or lower.

You're talking about Zenkai. And not exactly; although it does wear down their life force, it only speeds up their natural death. For Zenkai to take effect, they need to be beaten close to death (The closer, the more power they get from it). However, I don't doubt that after taking a sensue post-Tribeam, they might get something from it. It's something to think about. I've always wondered why Saiyans don't just live live perpetually close to death, especally if they had sensues on their person. The entire story would be different, if Goku had figured that out when he was a child.

It's more likely that they just didn't have a means for healing themselves quickly, pulling themselves out of the fire. Vegeta could do it on Namek, because Dende could heal him with a gesture. He was really clever, and he SHOULD have forced Krillian to almost kill him again, and be rehealed. Then he would have be able to at least stand up to Freiza, for a while at least.
If they remade the entire story with them taking advantage of everything they were given (Zenkai and Beans, specifically), I think it'd be an entirely new and interesting plot. I'd watch it in a moment.

Had an ex-girlfriend who was a bartender in a strip club. She said half of the strippers would just sit in the corner and not even dance or strip. JUST SIT THERE!!! So yea dont ever go to the champagne room. Or strip clubs for that matter. You'll find out that 90% of strippers are ugly as fuck and just have daddy issues

I've always said Jif, gif is a harsh sounding word. But trying to argue logically about language is retarded, it just is. Gif is an acronym somebody made up, they pronounced it one way and so do most people, therefore that's how it's pronounced.
If Jiff Bezos True inventor of the gif was alone in liking the j-sound then he would be wrong and the majority would be right.

What happened is people speak different ways even though it's the same language and you don't have to be condescending just because you feel right. English is spoken in dozens of countries but it is different in each one because that's how language works. Your is possessive and you're is a conjunction of you are, but bum means butt just like ass does and just because you have different ways of saying it doesn't make it the same thing. Just because I've been on the internet since I was a kid and say gif instead of jif but someone who isn't as into the internet as you says me me instead of meem does too, doesn't mean I haven't been on and into the same things as you have because you say jif and it's impossible that anyone else who says jif isn't also new into the web saying me me as well. It's dialect, you aren't wrong and you aren't right, it changes and you can be a dick about it if you want, you're just going to continue to sound like a dick and nothing else for however long you do it.
#249 - coolcalx (05/17/2014) [-]
it has always been pronounced "jiff"
it was pronounced "jiff" when they were working on it, because the joke was "choosy developers choose gif"
it was published with the pronunciation "jiff"
everyone knew it was pronounced "jiff"
over time, people became introduced to the file format after it had been produced, and because they didn't know about what the format was, they mispronounced it.
it has nothing to do with dialects. it has everything to do with the fact that people were mispronouncing something because they didn't know the history behind it.

And it is now dated, you are right that as new people came in the word changed, but that doesn't mean that you are right about the pronunciation and that it isn't dialect. That is what a change in dialect is, new generations, new people, pronouncing old words (not just age but also in other regions of the world) differently. You're saying it has always been pronounced jif because that's how it is to you and the people who were familiar with it when it started, and that's how it has always been because that's just how it was. Well that's great that it's how it was when it started, but it's not how "it has always been pronounced" because it is now pronounced both ways. Latin is a dead language because it is no longer being modernized by anybody, it fell off. It's not because nobody can speak it, but there aren't words for new things since it died. The latest updated Latin is set on pronunciation because it doesn't have any adaptations. That isn't the case for English because it modernizes. Old words that haven't been used for decades will come back with new definitions and pronunciation, and new words will be added to the dictionary.
To the point I believe you were trying to pin me on -
Arguing with kuchikirukia he stated an opinion based on his idea of what a nerd is, which is very outdated and impossible to achieve in newer generations. I was simply stating in response that you can be a real nerd and not have the same connection to the word as the older generation of nerd does. There will always be people jumping in as if they are nerds when they don't do anything more than social media, but there will also be nerds who don't share the same experiences that you do because they are from different areas of nerd, or different eras.
TL;DR - Both pronunciations are correct and you've gotta deal with that. Just because you are historically correct does not mean you are correct now.
