Well, I didn't really use a recipe. I took a loaf of artisan bread from the bakery, cut it like a checkerboard, spread the pieces a bit, and stuffed pieces of cheddar and (cooked) bacon in the spaces. I then took ranch dressing and drizzled between the spaces. Broiled it in the oven until the cheese was bubbly and browned. Let it cool, then put green onions on top.

Shhhhhh heathen, no need to sully our sacred belief in the saltless one. The oceans are naught but pure clean water, purified by the holy Neptune. The salt in them comes from the evil of the salted one, fueled by the malice and malcontent of the salty unpurified. Pious Neptune does great battle with these heathens day in and day out to provide us with clean, pure water. This is where rivers and lakes come from. But the evil in man is deep-seated and strong, that is why the oceans are salty. But through following the holy path and drinking your water by the minute we can drive back the salty heathens by releasing the great frozen reservoirs of the Purified one and diffusing the salt from our precious water for good. Fear not acolyte, the time of reckoning is nigh.

You two seem to be knowledgable on D&D
Me and a couple of my friends would like to start a group, but we have no idea where to start. I tried looking up a D&D set or whatever it's called, but found that it's practically non-existent in my country.
So we're kinda stuck, but we'd really like to play. Any advice?

For sure. Pathfinder (the thing we are talking about) is a spin off of DnD. www.d20pfsrd.com/ is where you can find all the rules, for free.
www.d20pfsrd.com/basics-ability-scores/getting-started This is a good place to get started.
If you have any other questions, feel free to message me or something like that, I'd love to help a new player out
