Unless you're in arena, where you proceed to max decoy and deny the enemy team minions EVER.

I get what you're saying, but being told how to swim and being told you need to swim while drowning are two different things.

The first one, being told how to swim. Often sounds condensing like the person is uninterested or doesn't really caring and all round just not helpful.

The second, being told you need to swim. That's encouragement, that's a person doing what little they can to help you.

As anon said to me the small acts of kindness often have a huge impact.

I fully understand what you mean and I do get annoyed myself at people who do this, mostly because it's hard to tell who genuinely needs help is making a cry for help and who is just an attention whore.

But I sort of disagree in a way, people will 'help' you, but it's easy to fail to recognize and accept what little help that was offered. No one will pick you up and carry you, they will give you a stick so you stand up but it's up to you, to get up dust yourself off and keep going, this much is true so, yes you got to do most the work yourself, because no one will do it for you, but remembering people will give you a stick so you can get started, is very important reminder that you're not alone.
