some time after, he would fail to conquer china and die from disease, which then weakened his families strength in japan. his clan would lose to Ieyasu Tokugawa at Sekigahara, thus ending his families reign and unifying Japan's powers under the newly established Tokugawa Shogunate, ending the sengoku period.
