Are you talking like wall-to-wall carpet? Is that a common thing in other countries or is it mostly the US and UK? I'm Swedish and I don't think I've ever seen carpet used in a home, in any room, except on American and British TV-shows. Rugs sure, really common, carpet literally never.

But yeah, wooden floors all the way, looks beautiful and feels great to walk on.

As far as I've seen(I live in America), carpeted floors are usually in the family room, or bedrooms and stuff. Hard floors are generally for places that might need to be cleaned up, like the bathroom, kitchen, or dining room.
But I suppose that's up to whoever lives in the house.

Yeah dude I'm English and most homes are mainly carpeted with kitchens tiles or wooden. It helps when there's kids etc as well as they can crawl on a anicer floor.
