Seriously! The lower positions in retail and food business make it really easy to see how terrible customers can be. Like cart pusher at wal mart.

Potatoes are a starch, and salt is sodium chloride, both good parts of a balanced diet. Removing the salt would make them end up worse for you, because you're depriving your body of a substance it uses to keep equilibrium.

I think speed could be sacrificed for a safegaurd against situations like that, so that customers could have the convenience of changing their order without wasting food. Then again the american public gets really angry when their food doesn't reach them fucking immediately, so there's a problem there. I sympathize in the area that customers suck, anywhere usually. I just wish they could be told to fucking deal with a minor inconvenience.

Likewise, likewise.

There are sooo many things I could complain about. After working there for a while you REALLY realize how bitchy customers are and you learn to respect the people working there a lot more.

One thing I want to announce to the world: If you ask for non-salted fries...we have to make...an ENTIRE basket of fries completely fresh. Which will take 4 minutes. We are literally starting a whole new batch, for ONE customer. Stop. Saying. It. Takes. Too. Long. They are fucking french fries for fuck's sake. You really think "no salt" makes them HEALTHY?

Clear "shooting the messenger" situation. I understand it's for efficiency, but they still need to change systems up a little to avoid situations like that. Or at least get more understanding employees.

It makes things a lot faster.

And everyone knows deep down that customers suck, but people in the back will still be angry from time to time, so it's only human nature to pass that on to someone else, even if it's not their fault.

I cashier'd for a while. Not fun when things like that happened.
