How much do you spend on housing, food, entertainment, student loan repayment, ect? If you are saving 20-30% of what you make, you are in a strong position. You are looking at 4-5 years of saving there for a fairly high paying single income person, right out of college. Go try it if you haven't ok but that vid of mike trout is of him catching a ball not hitting so i too showed a video of hitting...whats your point?  Have you tried any of sports? And-1s in basketball are difficult, catches like the ones in the video are pretty difficult, and there are other things in many sports that are so difficult they rarely happen. Also I think what the guy did in the video is harder than hitting a baseball consistently. If you're right then I'm sorry but its just hard to believe that something that happens so often in a game is the hardest thing to do in sports. #35 -
assholy (01/11/2016) [-] I think the key word in anon's comment is "consistently". That said, I don't know that that's actually true, I consistently hit the ball after the second strike almost everytime I batted in my highschool team. Though since these other events happen so rarely, it's harder to compare.  odell's catch was still way more impressive. only used fingertips to catch it high and behind his head, tighter coverage and got fouled on the play, much longer pass (for TD)  didnt see it from that angle but it was a great catch, seahawks had a pretty good turnaround going for the win  Agreed. I've been a Broncos fan my entire sportsfan life so I was rooting hard against the Seahawks but they managed to make a crazy comeback (secretly hoping for Superbowl rematch). Can't help but feel horrible for Walsh and all the Vikes fans though. not much of a sports fan but when i watch football i usually root for the team that my family goes for, buckeye's for my home state and for pro its steelers (bengals fucked up a lot last night and steelers took advantage over it.) any other game i just pick a team and wait for the turnout, i also root for teams in states my relatives live in I feel you. I haven't been much into College but the recent fantasy sports stuff has gotten me a little more interested and I'm starting to see why people like it. Seems to be faster and with more spectacular plays. Ugh Steelers. I had them pegged to not even make the playoffs this year and they've made a fool of me. The Broncos get to play them next and It's sketchy because the last time they played them the Steelers came back with Antonio Brown and ended up winning. Should be a good game though! after the spearing brown got last game it would be a miracle if he can perform well in denver. we'll have to wait and see though. i remember some years back the steelers were great and won almost all of there games, past few years they have just sucked, especially when they lost to the browns. hoping to see them pick it up Ugh that hit was stupid unfair. I'm aware that Giovanni Bernard took a huge hit from a Steelers LB but there was just no excuse for that hit on Brown. I heard he was concussed so hopefully it isn't lingering. Ben took a big hit in that game too and it would just be sad if they weren't at 100 percent to play Denver. bens hit caused him to toss all those short passes as they struggled to reach field goal distance. benard got hit bad but i saw it as a positioning issue while going for the tackle he had to correct his stance so he wouldn't miss, his head happened to be in the wrong place. the hit to brown was full force and i did't see and attempt to put his shoulder out first. that 30 yard penalty saved them. hoping they have a quick recovery. | ||

I think they realized that Iowa can't win and wanted to avoid embarrassment one more time given Minnesota can't beat these guys. This team is on FIRE in the FCS!

saltyfries (08/21/2015) [-] NDSU has just been badass since their entrance to FCS since 2004, they're the first team to win 4 consecutive FCS titles, 5 consecutive wins against FBS teams (including K-State, Minnesota, Iowa State), 8-3 overall vs FBS (that's just disgusting), John Crockett their RB is a Packer, Brock Jensen unfortunately a free agent I believe which sucks cuz I thought he was fantastic and a great leader (from Waupaca, WI).
